Class trips

According to the feedback, the most memorable experience of every class trip to Kecskemét is the time spent in the Leskowsky Instrument Collection. It is an hour-long experience, during which children can try out countless instruments and experience the experience of making music together without any knowledge of instruments.

For Families

Here, children can experience the joy of free exploration. Visiting and participating in our activities is a shared joy for young and old alike.

Instrument pampering

Age-group: from 6 months to 3 years, every week .

Exploring the world of sounds, the instruments of the world.
How does playing become music and music becomes playing? Rattling, drumming and strumming week after week.
In this session, children can learn about the most interesting sound-making instruments and make music with us.

Music with Maria

Age-group: families

The sessions are all in English, which is a great opportunity for parents to brush up on their language skills or start learning English. The most popular English-language nursery rhymes and songs are all included, so you can add them to your family's toy library alongside the swing-set.
Maria Bloom's English-language, live instrumental, creative activities are unique among children's activities. The fun sessions are based on live music and keep the little ones engaged throughout. Bubbles bubble and rainbow shawls float, puppets and puppets "sound" and all the senses are engaged as children playfully learn "How do you do?"

For tourist groups

Each visiting group receives a unique, interactive, entertaining programme of music and entertainment. We can accommodate groups of up to 50 people. Program length is usually 45-55 minutes.

For individual visitors

A personalised experience

All visitors are provided with expert, personal guided tours in Hungarian and English. They can touch the instruments, play them without any musical training, experience the birth of sounds, try out musical instruments they have never tried before, and gain special musical experiences and valuable knowledge.

For all age groups

The Leskowsky Collection of Musical Instruments is informative, interesting and entertaining for everyone, regardless of age. There is no need to look for a special musical programme as a reason for a visit, because every visit is an experience.

Find your rhythm!

The country's largest museum of musical instruments is a fun way to find a common rhythm and harmony. Through playful, humorous, yet informative exercises, team members become more liberated and open-minded. The energy of drumming together, the nerve-soothing sounds of relaxing instruments and the fun programme guidance make for a long-lasting shared experience that strengthens community.

Yoga&Sound

Yoga and sound together - with Szilvia Bajada-Gárdián in the Leskowsky Instrument Collection.
An ancient friend of the SOUNDS is MOVEMENT, together and supporting each other since ancient times, they help us to visit our own inner island of harmony.

All are welcome to our Yoga & Sound sessions with gentle yoga and Tibetan singing bowl relaxation. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

As the leader of the session, Szilvia, does not live in Hungary, these sessions are held at irregular intervals. Please enquire by e-mail.
